The Baptist Faith & Message
We are followers of Jesus Christ, Christians, by faith and Southern Baptist by choice and we are not ashamed of it.

As to article 6 of the BFAM 2000 and since we are an autonomous body, we here at Trion Heights Baptist Church also believe and practice the teachings of Scripture that the office of deacon, as it pertains to the local church, is also limited to men only as qualified by Scripture.
Living a life changed by Jesus Christ
It is our vision to live a life changed by Jesus Christ so other lives can be changed by Jesus.
As we live a life changed by Jesus, either as individuals or as a local church, we cannot help but take the wonderful Gospel message of what He did for the entire world and share it with everyone we meet! This is Jesus’ Great Commision for us and every future believer and follower. When we do this, live a life changed by Jesus, He said we would be a light in the dark and the world will notice the difference.
When we live out our lives changed by Jesus, and others notice, we desire to see God glorified as others repent of their sins and accept Jesus as their personal Savior and Lord as well. And they too will begin to share the Gospel in and through their daily lives in word and deed. To their family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, classmates, and strangers
Jesus desires to build His Church from every believer
We believe every follower of Jesus Christ should be connected to a local Scripture teaching congregation where Jesus is Lord! Jesus said He would build His church, and in doing so, He has gifted each follower with some talent, gift, or ability to strengthen His Church. Though we come from different backgrounds and occupations, Jesus said that the world will know we are His by the way we love each other.
None of us are perfect. But being redeemed, we have been called to love and serve our Heavenly Father with all our heart, all our soul, all our mind, and all our strength. And we are to love others the way Jesus does. With the help of the Holy Spirit, who dwells in every true follower and believer of Jesus Christ, we can become more like Jesus each day.
